It is our goal to set forth reasonable expectations for before, during and after the installation of your contracted garage door products. You are scheduling a construction project for your home, as such, you should expect some inconvenience during the installation. Just remember, in the end you are going to have a more comfortable, energy efficient home.
Our crew members will need to park the truck close to your residence in order to do the work. We may be required to park our truck in your driveway or the nearest point on the street in front of your residence.
Payment with a check: We ask that you are present and have a check ready in the full amount of your accepted participation amount at the completion of work.
Payment with a credit card: We ask that you are present and have your credit card ready when our crew members arrive. Before beginning work, our senior crew member will place a call into our office. You will then be able to provide credit card information directly to one of our office staff members. You also have the option of providing your credit card information anytime after you have signed and returned the proposal. Our Credit Card Form is attached and will be effective on the date of completion. Your credit card will not be charged prior to the last of work.
If our crew members arrive at your residence and you are not home we will NOT perform the work at that time. You will need to call our office to reschedule the work. This may cause a significant delay in rescheduling your work.
We ask that while our crew members are working in or around your home, children are supervised and pets are kept away from the work areas. The installation process may require multiple trips in and out of the residence. We ask, for the safety of your pets, please make arrangements for containment until the work is completed. Our equipment is designed to be used by trained professionals. Please maintain a safe distance from the work area. We can not be held responsible for any accidents or injuries due to unsupervised children or roaming pets.
Prior to our arrival we ask that you remove any items that may be stored in or around the garage door area where we will be performing work, typically the front half of the garage.
Please remove any valuables from the area or in the pathway where we will be performing work. We will not be held liable for damages caused if our crew members have to relocate personal items.
Our Sales Representative should identify if you have the proper electric installed in the event we are installing a new garage door opener. If you do not have the appropriate electric installed it will be your responsibility to have this work completed by a licensed electrician before we arrive to install the operator.
Upon completion, the crew members will clean up to the best of their ability. They will offer you the opportunity to review and then sign as an approval of the work and clean up.
For jobs with existing garage doors, all old materials taken down are subject to a $50.00 per garage door tear down and disposal fee included in the price quoted. If the homeowner chooses to retain old materials, they may do so by informing installers upon arrival.
